Harvest Time Kids is the name of our Kids’ Ministry at Harvest Time and is led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children and whose vision is to connect kids to God and His family! We believe parents are the number one influence in a child's life, and what happens at home can be more influential than what happens at church. Harvest Time Kids is there for guidance every step of the way.

The “Journey to Jesus” can start at a young age. Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program geared towards kids, no matter what age, to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other kids and leaders!

Our services/classes are designed with your child in mind! Each child is taught in an age-appropriate environment. From loving care in “The Seedling” nursery to energizing music and engaging teaching in our "HTK" class, your child will be cared for and taught God’s Word in a safe, loving and exciting space.

first visit

On your first visit to Harvest Time Kids, we will gather some basic family information and check your child(ren) into our computer - based check-in system. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the Harvest Time Kids experience for this initial check in process. Your child(ren) will receive a name tag with their name, Harvest Time classroom, allergies, and security code on it. You will receive a tag with the same security code that prints on your child's name tag. You will need to show this tag to pick up your child(ren) at the end of your worship experience. If we should need to contact you during the worship experience, we have a system in place for that. Our goal is to allow your child to experience Jesus in a safe and secure environment and are honored that you would trust us with your child(ren).

Wednesdays at 7pm

Harvest Time Kids Wednsday Night Groups (HTK WED) is a midweek discipleship program Wednesdays at 7pm for the children of Harvest Time, 6 weeks through Grade 6. Working through curriculum, your child will focus on developing a relationship with Jesus, learning what it means to be a part of the church family and connecting with their peers and leaders. All of this is done in a consistent small group atmosphere – same leaders, same kids and same day/time each week.

the seedlings

In our Seedlings infant room, ages 6 weeks through 23 months,

Christ’s love for children is demonstrated through our leaders by providing a safe and clean environment in which the children can play. We believe babies are not too young to have the Word of God spoken over them and planted in their hearts. Therefore, your child will be ministered to while we care for them.

The sprouts

The Sprouts toddler room, ages 2 through 3 years old, is the place where parents bring their preschoolers and volunteers

show up every Sunday to introduce these little ones to their Heavenly Father; the MOST IMPORTANT thing we do for our preschoolers. We want to make a FIRST IMPRESSION in such a way that it makes a LASTING IMPRESSION on the child’s heart.

the harvest

The Pre-K and Kinder room is fun, creative, and inviting. The

Harvest team is trained and equipped with great tools to help make their experience the “funnest” hour of your child's week. Supervised play-time, age-appropriate crafts, engaging stories, and interactive worship songs are just a few of the things that make this the perfect place for your Pre-K and Kinders.

htk

HTK is our space for 1st – 6th grade where they can discover

and develop a passion for God. We teach our kids that God is for them now, they do not have to wait until they are older to build a relationship with Him. We accomplish this through awesome worship, cool videos, teaching and small groups led by dedicated adult volunteers. We want kids to see how God's word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last.

parent note

All Harvest Time Kids team members must complete an application process, pass a background check and be knowledgeable of all safety policies and procedures before being placed on a team to serve.
