"The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul."

- Johann Sebastian Bach

Fine Arts at Harvest Time, serves as a tool to reach the lost and to uplift the believer in a world that has become increasingly more visually and musically influenced.  Excellence is what we strive for in all our endeavors (from set design and dramatic productions to vocal and instrumental performance), because we are honoring our Creator. The Arts, after all, had its beginnings in the church.  Throughout most of history, artists did most of their great work for the church---consider Michaelangelo, Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven.

It is only in recent times that the Fine Arts have become primarily "entertainment" rather than edification.  A great deal of money and effort have been poured into the movie and entertainment industry.  However, that effort has not served God's original purpose for the Arts. Instead of illuminating people's minds with truth, secular entertainment has turned out the light on honesty, justice, and the things of God.

Our mission at Harvest Time is to become a beacon of the Arts in our community and beyond with God, once again, the intended focus.  Many of our people have been blessed with gifts and abilities in this area.  We are ambassadors of God sent out to portray Christ’s image to all who will see and hear.
